Mercure Marseille Canebiere Vieux-Port

The location was perfect - right in the heart of the city's liveliest neighborhood. It was easy to get to from the train station, and the tram stop right outside made transportation easy. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the staff were cute and friendly. I especially want to mention Ryad, who provided excellent service throughout my stay. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. I also enjoyed the complimentary bottle of Evian in the mini-fridge.

The hotel had a great location in the center of Marseille, close to everything and down to the old port. The room was of good quality and very modern, with a spacious shower. The staff were helpful and welcoming, with most of them speaking great English. The hotel was quiet and had air conditioning that worked well. The hotel was stylishly refurbished and had comfortable beds and free wifi. The location was ideal with tram and metro stops nearby.

Some guests mentioned that the thermostat in the room could not be adjusted, which made it difficult to control the temperature.

The staff at Mercure were accommodating and quickly resolved any issues we had. One night, we had no hot water in our room, but they promptly moved us to another room with hot water available. Despite the new room only having hot water for a limited time, we were still able to enjoy a quick shower. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the center of town, making it easy to explore. The rooms were clean and tidy, and we were even able to request a specific room, provided to us. The breakfast was delicious, and there was a water station available to refill our bottles. I recommend this hotel for its modern amenities and great location.

Great location, only a short walk to the port and close to Metro stations and trams for easy exploration of the city. The breakfast was delicious, providing a tasty start to the day. One more advantage that I enjoyed was the nice little Bluetooth music player in the room.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, with easy access to public transportation and the famous port. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially the receptionist named Shah. They provided us with a free map and offered great recommendations for exploring the area. Our request for a quiet room was fulfilled, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The hotel itself was beautifully refurbished, with stylish decor and comfortable amenities. The beds were cozy, and the bathrooms were uniquely designed with green and white tiled deco-esque features. We were impressed by the monsoon shower, free wifi, and flatscreen TV. The room service was prompt and efficient, adding to our overall comfort and convenience. We were also delighted to find interesting black and white photos of the building's pre-renovation era dotted around the hotel. The fact that nearly everyone on staff spoke English fluently was a huge advantage for us. We also appreciated the affordable breakfast, which offered a wide variety of delicious food and beverages, including freshly squeezed orange juice. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.
